Rut Bryk’s centenary exhibition at EMMA 12.5.-4.9.2016 Art Historian PhD, Marja-Terttu Kivirinta on Rut Bryk: ”She was very curious. She was very interested in many things. In many surprising things that you couldn’t imagine to interest her. In other words she was very open to everything - had a positive attitude toward many things. Yes she was critical as well. But she let things flow in a way. She was an artist, who looked at the world, followed it. And she viewed and examined her environment.” Artworks: Rut Bryk, Girl with braided hair (Rut), 1948 and Untitled linocut print, 1942, Tapio Wirkkala Rut Bryk Foundation Collection. Production: EMMA
